Ben was our whole world and every moment we had with him was precious. The time we spent with him while he was receiving treatment made us realise how important family are particularly to young patients who might be facing a stay in hospital.

Time is Precious has been set up to support not just those children who, because of illness or disability, find themselves in hospital for treatment but their families who want to be with them because time is just that, precious.

Our aim is to help provide the hospitals where Ben received his care with the equipment and facilities to make life a bit more bearable for young patients and their families.
