Ben Halford

Born to be brave

Proud parents Neil and Nicky Halford’s world was shattered when they said goodbye to their son Ben as he lost his long and brave battle against cancer.

One moment Ben Halford was a normal, happy, gorgeous little boy, learning to walk and talk, exploring his world with delight and full of chuckles for his doting mum and dad, and the next, he was fighting for his life.

New technology helps to relax children undergoing MRI scans

So proud to fund this visual technology costing over £9000 at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust to help distract and calm young children undergoing MRI scans.

Children's Garden

So pleased to have had the official opening of the RUH Bath Children’s garden. The ribbon was cut by our amazing patron & actor Will Thorp.The new-look garden contains something for all ages.RUH Chief Executive Cara Charles- Barks said: “I am so grateful to Time is Precious for their incredible generosity. “Thanks to them we have been able to completely transform the outdoor garden area for our Children’s Ward. “It’s so important that our young patients have the opportunity to enjoy some time playing outside in the fresh air if they can. It can help to improve their recuperation and gives them a break from being on the ward.”Special thanks to everyone who donated to this project including, Mulberry Curo Saltford Golf Club Bath Half Marathon Team TIP runners, Sophie Frood & Rob Willis

We Now Help at Home

Time Is Precious supports individual children with equipment for their homes, called Ben’s Gift.

“With thanks for the amazing support from the community, we can try to help more children.”

Over the years we have had several individual requests, to support children in their homes. Unfortunately we have had to turn these down, as it has not been in our deeds to do so. However, this has now been passed by the charity commissions.

We are overwhelmedo be able to do this, as we want to help as many children as possible.
